The Opterra is one of the best planes Charles has ever flown. Here’s some footage he took late today. In actuality, he waited till almost too dark to take the video. He’s tried to brighten it up the best he could. Enjoy!

In addition to our new carport, we recently had some bushhoggin’ and road leveling work done. These aerial views help you better appreciate the work, especially the bushhoggin which shows up better from the air. This place is looking better day by day!

Charles modified the rudder of his Hobbyking Skipper RC plane so that it would be both good in the water and great on land. This is the first time he has ever flown it off of water. Compared to our normal flying area, this lake is a bit smaller. This is some of the toughest flying he’s done. It takes quite a bit for the plane to come up off of the water and then it wants to go straight up…then you have to power down the motor a lot and keep it out of the trees (and this planes flies pretty fast!). Still a lot of fun though.
